2011 Street Machine Nationals Have A New Home

After months of negotiating, it has finally been announce that the 2011 Street Machine Nationals have a new home - Sydney Dragway. This years event will be held over the weekend of May 14th and 15th. Moving the event from Rosehill offers many benefits including a purpose-built burnout pad with tiered seating, a well-known motorsport facility, a more user-friendly cruise track and plenty of area for the street car Show 'n' Shine, the Dyno comp, Autocross challenge and more. This year will be incorporate a Pro-Street Shoot-Out (Drag Racing) on the Saturday afternoon / evening - an event that will see cars come from across Australia to take part, boosting both entrant numbers and spectator figures.

Also incorporating will be the Show Car Masters - an elite group of 20 cars that show case the very best of the best as far as Show Cars go. This display will be held inside the structure in the pits along with a few traders.
