REDBACK CHOPPERS is a new custom chopper building company in Geraldton, Western Australia.

Rob, the owner of REDBACK CHOPPERS, is originally from Nottingham in the UK and migrated to Australia five years ago. His dream for building choppers started when he saw a Triumph Tiger Cub being transformed into a chopper in the early 70s but not until the 90s did he start to pursue his passion. After arriving in Australia he then decided to fully concentrate on building choppers and so REDBACK CHOPPERS was born.

The Team consists of Rob, Dave and Luke in Engineering/Fabrication, Ross/Mechanics and Kerstin in administration.

Traveling around WA and settling in Geraldton, 430 km north of Perth made Rob realize how isolate and difficult it can be for Australians living in regional WA. This is why RBC is particularly keen to serve the Midwest, Gascoyne, Pilbara and Kimberley region but orders have already come in from the south of WA and the East coast.

The first Show bike built in Geraldton/WA was called Nosferatu and was named after a German Vampire Film. The bike entered the Show and Shine 2009 and won 3 “First place trophies” for “Best Customized,” “Best Murals/Graphics,” “Best Motorcycle” and 2 “Second place trophies” for “Best Paint” and “Best Display.”

The second show bike is nearly finished and will be entered into the Show and Shine 2010 in Geraldton. Both Show bikes will be taken to Perth and then to the Melbourne Motorcycle Expo 26-28 November 2010.

This year RBC started supplying aftermarket products from all the major brands and are also in the process of putting together their own product line.

Each customer can be ensured that their work and design is priority and done to the highest quality and standard.

Anything from frames, tanks, mud guards, handle bars,

to complete custom-built choppers or reconstructing your existing “love” will be done in house. All things are possible!

RBC has been assigned to build a charity bike for a company on the East coast. Further information about this project will be published shortly. There is also a fashion line called “Hell Sick Clothing” by Redback Choppers being designed and customers will be able to buy the range very soon on their website www.redbackchoppers.com and through “CORRUPT CLOTHING” in Geraldton. Presently more outlets across WA are being approached. The new range will be on sale by the middle of September 2010.
